Wood as support has been, after the shelter wall of the first settlers, one of the most used materials from antiquity and one of the largest travel throughout history, reaching the present day use in the development of art objects. Being an undisputed material nobility is, however, subject to great instability caused by the influence of different environmental agents. In support of art work that is part of a vast cultural legacy, is subject to the inexorable laws of nature: aging and transformation (disappearance). Thus, the mechanism that generates the acceleration of aging is in living conditions, ie, in the environment in which the art object is located.
