Andrés Diego Golombek (Buenos Aires, November 22, 1964) is a doctor who works as a teacher Biology Regular Head of the National University of Quilmes and as Principal Investigator of CONICET.He is a scientist known for his work in popularizing science in Argentina, reason won the Konex 2007.1 award Among its activities as a popularizer their participation is highlighted in the "Scientific Industria Argentina" and the publication of the book collection "Science barking" which has the most sold in Argentina with more than 500,000 ejemplares.2 3 book was also scientific advisor to the Discovery Channel program, "The Factory" .4 currently leads the "G Project" program on channel Meeting Argentina.5After graduating from the National College of San Isidro, graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires in 1988 with an average of 8.95 and a Diploma of honor. In 1992 he obtained a doctorate in Biological Sciences at the same university with the thesis "The chronobiological activity of melatonin: relation to central GABAergic system", with a rating of Excellent.His main research is particularly associated with chronobiology, the theme of which is the author of numerous publications and two patents.
