Maurice Dobb (September 3, 1900 - August 17, 1976), was an English Marxist economist who has studied the feudal mode of production, and was committed to the interpretation of economic theory from a Marxist point of view. It was part of the influential group of British Marxist historians, one of its most prominent figures. Some of his works such as Introduction to economics were published by the Fondo de Cultura Economica. Of particular interest in understanding the economic theories, contextuándolas in space and time, and demystify the antagonisms to conclude that both political economy and neoclassical economics dealing with different issues
