Armando Gonzalez Torres (Mexico City, 1964). Poet and essayist. Study at El Colegio de Mexico. Published in numerous magazines and cultural supplements of Mexico and abroad. He is a member of the National System of Creators. In 1995 he won the National Poetry Prize Gilberto Owen; in 2001, the National Essay Prize Alfonso Reyes; in 2005, Jus Prize 2005 trial, Zaid discussed, and in 2008 the National Essay Prize José Revueltas.
He is the author of five books of poetry Orthodox conversation Thirst of corpses, Los neat days affront Theory and plague. He has written five books of essays The culture wars of Octavio Paz, intellectuals die !, Twilight of the clergy, philosophers Sex and the little tradition. He is the author of books of aphorisms That which illuminates the world and Sobreperdonar.
