Jean Echenoz (Orange, 1948) arrived in Paris in 1970, where he lives since. fully delivered to the literature, all his novels have been published in Les Éditions de Minuit, among which include Cherokee (Medicis Prize, 1983), Je m'en you go (Goncourt Prize, 1999) and Ravel (Francois Mauriac Prize Aquitaine region, 2006). In 1988 he received the Gutenberg Award as "the best hope of French letters", and has been considered by different specialized media the most important French novelist of the 1990s.
