Soma Morgenstern (Budzanów, eastern Galicia, 1890-New York, 1976) was a novelist, critic and playwright; author, among others, works Alban Berg and his idols and Rout in France. A fictionalized account, both published in this same editorial. a close friend of Joseph Roth and Alban Berg in Vienna interwar had friendship with Stefan Zweig, Robert Musil, Otto Klemperer and Anton Webern, and also frequented the circle of intellectuals who met in the studio of Anna Mahler, among which included Hermann Broch, Elias Canetti and Ernst Bloch.
