Jeanne Hersch

Jeanne Hersch (Geneva, 1910-2000), philosopher, writer and translator, studied at the universities of Geneva, Heidelberg, Freiburg im Breisgau - where she was a disciple of Heidegger - and Paris. Assistant to Karl Jaspers, he published his first book, L'illusion philosophique, in 1936. In 1966, he was appointed director of the Division of Philosophy of UNESCO. Later, in 1970, it would be designated representative of Switzerland before the executive council of that institution. In Cliff have appeared his books The birth of Eva (2008), The great astonishment (2010) and Time and music (2013).
