Dorothy Parker (West End, 1893 - New York, 1967). American writer. Versatile and brilliant spirit, he wrote articles for Vogue and practiced literary and theatrical criticism at Vanity Fair and The New Yorker. He also made several reports from Spain during the Civil War. The story that we present here, "Big Blonde", won the O. Henry Award for best story of the year. In his works he observes with acuteness the personal, affective and social relations, considering them always difficult, frustrating or even impossible.
He also wrote poems, among which stand out those collected in the book The lost poems, of next appearance in Nordic.
