Francis M. Cornford (1874-1943) has been one of the greatest experts in classical Greek thought and culture. He was an illustrious professor of Philosophy at Trinity College of the University of Cambridge over several decades and in 1931 he was appointed a member of the British Academy. It has an extensive bibliography including different works translated into Spanish as Fundamentals of Modern Science and The Platonic Theory of Knowledge.
