Teddy Wayne has received the Whiting Writers Award and the creation grant of the American National Endowment for the Arts. Kapitoil, his first novel, has been a finalist for the PEN Award | Robert W. Bingham, the Young Lions Fiction Award and the Dayton Literary Peace Prize. He has studied at Harvard and Washington universities in St. Louis, and his texts often appear in publications such as the New Yorker, the New York Times, Vanity Fair, Time, McSweeney’s and the Wall Street Journal.
