Daniel Montañez Pico (Madrid, 1986) studied a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Granada and a master's and doctorate in Latin American Studies at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He works as a professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and regularly collaborates as an articleist in Ojarasca, a supplement on indigenous affairs of La Jornada, and in Gara.Es author of Black Marxism.
