Rafa Guerrero Tomás has a degree in Clinical and Health Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). Doctor of Education and expert in Educational Psychology, he studied the Master in Brief Psychotherapy. He is also an expert in ADHD, learning disorders and behavior problems, an expert in Brief Psychotherapy with children and adolescents and an expert in Clinic and intervention in trauma.
He is currently the director of Darwin Psychologists and a professor at the Faculty of Education at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). In addition, he teaches classes in the Degree in Psychology and in the Master's Degree in Attention to Diversity and Educational Supports at the Cardenal Cisneros University Center, belonging to the University of Alcalá de Henares. He is a professor of the University Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, Professional Training and Language Teaching at the Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC).
Likewise, he is a member of the Spanish Society of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy (SEMPP), a member of the Institute for the Development and Application of EMDR (IDAE), a regular contributor to the newspaper El País and the Diario ABC, as well as a lecturer at national conferences and international, and teacher and parent trainer in numerous schools and educational centers in Spain.
He is the author of the book Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Between pathology and normality (2016) and Emotional education and attachment. Practical guidelines for managing emotions at home and in the classroom (2018).
