Coral Herrera Gomez. Doctor in Humanities and Audiovisual Communication, she is a writer, teacher and feminist, and has been researching romantic love for years. She has published several books in Spain: Women who no longer suffer for love, Men who no longer make suffer for love (both in Los Libros de la Catarata) or The sociocultural construction of romantic love (Foundations). She coordinates the Laboratory of Love, a virtual community of women who study and work under the motto that romance is political and that other ways of loving each other are possible. She has been a professor and researcher at the Sorbonne University in Paris IV, at the Carlos III University of Madrid and at the UNED in Costa Rica. She gives conferences, talks and workshops, participates in international conferences on education, communication and gender and has also collaborated with international organizations such as UNESCO, ILANUD, AECID and the Central American Media and Gender Observatory (GEMA).
