This choral and intergenerational dictionary, in which many of the leading figures of feminism in Spain and Latin America have participated, contains more than eighty entries with the most important concepts of the feminist theory and movement that have crystallized throughout its three centuries of history. From its origins at the dawn of modernity to "fourth wave" feminism, feminist theory has built an interpretative framework with great explanatory capacity to account for the social disadvantage of women, broadening the civil and political boundaries of democracies, making visible those repressed political and existential issues and introducing them into public debate. The concepts chosen reflect a diverse, complex and transdisciplinary theoretical corpus, and express its broad debates, struggles and demands against inequalities, discrimination and violence suffered on the basis of gender. A dictionary for all audiences that also shows the presence of feminism in the academic and university sphere, in the media or in militant movements, providing complementary references to broaden its understanding. It aims to account, in a rigorous and pedagogical way, for the richness of feminism as a critical thought and transformative tool, showing that there is no critical theory without political struggles and no political struggles without critical theory.
