Joshua Ramey is a visiting professor of Peace, Justice and Human Rights at Haverford College. His research focuses on political economy, critical theory, continental philosophy and the theories of religion. He is the author of two books, The Hermetic Deleuze: Philosophy and Spiritual Ordeal (Duke University Press, 2012) and Politics of Divination: neoliberal endgame and the religion of contingency (Rowman and Littlefield, 2016). He was previously attached professor of Philosophy at the Grinnell College (2014-2017), a visiting deputy professor at the Haverford College (2010-2014) and a visiting deputy professor at the University of Rowan (2007-2010). He has a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Villanova (2006).
