Massimo Recalcati. Italian psychoanalyst, essayist, professor at the Freudian Institute of Milan and the University of Bergamo, he is one of the greatest exponents of contemporary psychoanalysis. He occupies the scientific direction of the Istituto di Ricerca di Psicoanalisi Applicata (irpa). In 2003, he founded Jonas, a clinical center with a psychoanalytic approach that is committed to bringing psychoanalysis to the social sphere. Among his theoretical-clinical contributions, his studies on eating behavior disorders, drug addiction, new melancholies stand out, as well as his research on new symptom forms and the clinic of emptiness. He has published The Last Supper in Paradiso publishers (2021).
