This anthology brings together a series of representative poems by the Arab-Israeli poet, Ronny Someck, who through his poetry touches on themes of contemporary daily life: love, tributes to cinema and theater, dance and improvisation, jazz , blues and Arabic folklore. Without leaving humor and irony behind in his verses, Ronny Someck is capable of ironizing biblical stories and placing them in contemporary contexts in the face of events related to the current historical, political, and social situation of the State of Israel. Thus, the author himself is a representation of the reconciliation of two peoples, transforming the conflict into poetry. The work is translated from Hebrew into Spanish by Dr. Angelina Muñiz-Huberman, who manages to preserve the intimate, moving and transgressive nature of Someck's poetry.
