Geoffroy Delorme

Geoffroy Delorme. An immersive ecologist, wildlife photographer and writer, specializing in roe deer, he considers himself a witness to wildlife but also an ambassador for nature, having spent a long decade of his life walking through the forests behind wild animals. Leaving the social world of humans, immersing himself in the life of the roe deer, living among them in order to observe and understand them better has become a full-time activity for him. Delorme tries to study their behavior, understand them, adapt to their rhythm, a bit like Dian Fossey had done with gorillas or Jane Goodall with chimpanzees. In a Normandy national forest, he created a territory in which he would come across several roe deer and walk after them for several months. The distances were gradually reduced until the roe deer assumed that he meant no harm. With intelligence and great curiosity, they approached him and a great complicity was born. Beyond the fact of entering the life of wild animals, gaining their trust and eliminating any limit of distance with them, the adventure offered him a wonderful encounter with Chévi, an incredible roe deer, intelligent and full of curiosity about the world around him. surrounds, who became his best friend. Thus, he made a wild and humane expedition to let the world know how roe deer live.
