Edu Flores

Born in Zaragoza, 1970.
Graduated in Graphic Design at the Zaragoza School of Art, Graduated in Art History at the University of Zaragoza. He has been a drawing teacher in secondary school and at the Zaragoza School of Art. He is currently a professor at the Escuela Superior de Diseño de Aragón (ESDA) and combines his teaching work with children's illustration work. They stand out among his works: Willi the almost green dog, Willi in Zaragoza. The great enigma, Willi at the fairs, Sir William Dogg's great journey, Awake!, Diaño de Alagón (Ayto. Alagón, 2009) and 27 words, This is Alagón (Ayto. Alagón, 2010) With the album El pájaro of the Two Cages has been selected for the 25th Bratislava Biennale 2015. His album, Fred Astaire's Shoes and Other Incredible Stories was awarded the Golden Pinwheel Award in the category of Best International Children's Album, at the Children's Book Fair in Shanghai in November 2013. He is one of the members of Apila Ediciones. In 2015 he published Jack's Mother. With this album, Edu Flores was awarded the bronze medal in the category of best illustrator at the Moonbeam Children's Books Awards 2015 (United States). In 2017 he published the album What would happen? The last album of his published by him is Como el perro y el gato (2018).
