Born in Viseu, a small city in the interior of Portugal, in 1984. She graduated in Design from the University of Aveiro, Portugal in 2007 and a year later she moved to Barcelona where she studied Editorial Design at the Bau School and Illustration for Children's Publications and Juveniles in Eina. She worked as a freelance graphic designer for different companies, such as art galleries and events, magazines and cultural guides, and advertising agencies.
She currently lives in Porto, where she dedicates her time to illustration and screen printing. Run Run is her first illustrated album, to which she was awarded an honorable mention in the A La Orilla del Viento contest of the Fondo de Cultura Económica in 2013.
