Why do three million women participate in just two weeks in the story of the violence they suffer and have suffered?
Until recently there was no account of violence against women. Not because of their reluctance, but because of institutional imposition and the media. The #Cuéntalo movement not only highlights these silences, but also creates a collective memory of sexist aggression, narrated in the first person. Why haven't we known those testimonies before? What are the mechanisms that have prevented this?
