Jordi Cepa. With a degree in Physics from the University of Barcelona and a doctorate in Astrophysics from the University of La Laguna, he is a professor at the Department of Astrophysics at the University of La Laguna and a researcher at the Institute of Astrophysics of the Canary Islands. Author of numerous scientific publications in international refereed journals, he is principal investigator of the Spanish first light instrument of the GTC telescope
