Luis Jáuregui is a Doctor in History from El Colegio de México and current General Director of the Mora Institute, where he works on projects related to fiscal modernization in Latin America from the 18th to the 20th centuries. In the field of teaching, he has taught courses on economic theory and history, as well as workshops on the History of Taxes in Mexico. He recently published a synthesis of the public financial behavior of the Mexican government in the first decades of the independent period, as well as a work on federal participation in Mexico during the 19th century.
