From its epigraph, written by the American poet Jim Moore, Country Music anticipates what will be found between its pages: small, simple lives. The poems gathered here follow the proposals of various traditions related to simplicity as an act of artistic generosity and humility: flashes of poetry from the Far East, eroticisms from the Arab and Indian worlds, minimal stories of minimal characters, inspired by the tradition of music amalgamated in the melting pot of the south of the United States and north of Mexico, at the beginning of the twentieth century.
