Edgar Martín-Blas has been a surfer of technological waves for more than 20 years. After his time in the theme park sector and designing large projects with teams from Disney and Efteling, he experienced the effervescence of the Internet in the early 2000s as a digital creative at the multinational Onlinemkt, from there he moved on to digital creative direction at Ruiz Nicoli Lineas, achieving important awards such as EFI (Premios Eficacia), Iberoamericanos FIAP or Malofiej international. In 2013 he joined Tuenti-Telefónica as creative director. In 2018 he co-founded Virtual Voyagers, a decentralized company that is a pioneer in this new market, working with more than 80 brands (META, Vodafone, Inditex, Mastercard, etc.) being awarded with more than 20 national and international awards, being a featured company at the Facebook event "F8" (California) and Oculus Connect 6 in the VR for brands category. In 2022, she was awarded the Startups Awards for the best development in the Metaverse by the newspaper La Razón. In 2019 and 2020, she was named by the Choiseul Institute in the top 20 of the 100 Economic Leaders For The Future ranking and in 2021 selected by Forbes magazine as person of the day. He has also taught as an associate professor and master's director at: ESIC, ESADE, U-Tad, UXER School, UCM or CEU and has been a speaker at more than 60 events: TEDx, Animayo, El País Retina, Mundos Digitales or FICOD among others.
