The work of Jacques Lacan has been one of the most influential theoretical formulations of the second half of the 20th century, not only for psychoanalysis but also for a whole wave of contemporary thinkers from different disciplines. Its ubiquity has demonstrated that it can permeate any current discourse and theme. This compilation brings together three of Lacan's contributions from different periods. These three stages do not aim to define or establish an ordering within Lacanian thought, much less within his work, but rather to highlight three contributions we have identified elsewhere. The purpose is to disseminate these moments in Lacan's thought that underpinned an entire teaching and that successfully convey these writings, which have been little known in the psychoanalytic world, to the Spanish-speaking world.
