Jorge Tacla Sacaan, painter. He was born in Santiago, Chile, in 1958. He studied at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Chile between 1976 and 1979. He was a student of Rodolfo Opazo and Gonzalo Díaz in painting workshops. In 1981 he moved to New York, USA, where he has developed much of his career. His artistic production, based on a personal plastic language, has made him one of the contemporary Chilean artists with greater international presence.
