José Octavio Sosa, historian and musical researcher (Mexico City, February 3, 1962), son of tenor José Sosa Esquivel and soprano Laura Manterola, was a member of the Children's Choir of the Department of Music of INBA between 1971-1972. He is brother of the famous and excellent lyric tenor romantic music singer Jose Jose and the countertenor Héctor Sosa.
