Konstantin Stanislavski (Russian: Константин Станиславский) Konstantin Sergeyevich Alekseyev pseudonym, actor, stage director and theater educator, was born in Moscow on January 5, 1863 and died in the same city in 1938. He was the creator of the Stanislavski method of interpretation.
