Luis Vicente de Aguinaga, Luis Vicente was born in Guadalajara (Mexico) in 1971. He is the author of twelve books of poems: Noctambulario (1989), Nombre (1990), Piedras hundidas en la piedra (1992), El agua circular, el fuego ( 1995), Closeness (2000, translated into French in 2008), One Hundred Your Eyes (2003), For Once Against Autumn (2004), Reduced to Dust (2004, translated into English in 2015), Thirteen (2007), Exposed fracture (2008), Adolescence and other pending accounts (2011) and Septic (2012). He won the 2003 Efraín Huerta National Poetry Prize and the 2004 Aguascalientes National Poetry Prize.
