Marcella Olschki was born in Florence, Italy, in 1921 and died in that same city in 2001. Lawyer and journalist, between 1946 and 1948 she lived in the United States. In addition to A Postcard from 1939 (Bagutta Award for Best First Film in 1954), he wrote another autobiographical novel: Oh, America.
