Professor Dr. Pablo Goldschmidt

He graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry of the National University of Buenos Aires in Clinical and Biochemical Analysis. In parallel he studied at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters (Career of Psychology) of the National University of Buenos Aires, where he obtained the degree of Psychologist with clinical orientation.

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Hospital Center of Pitié-Salpetriére in Paris in Human Biology, specializing in Pharmacokinetics, Clinical Pharmacology, Neuro-Psychopharmacology and Antimicrobial Pharmacology.

At the Université Pierre et Marie Curie Paris VI he received his doctorate in Molecular Pharmacology.

He completed the theoretical-practical training of the Curie and Pasteur Institutes of Paris, obtaining the certification of Fundamental Virology and Molecular Biology. He was concurrent with the Services of Electron Microscopy, Medical Virology, Chlamydial-Rickettsial Diagnostics and Radioimmunoassays of the Pasteur Institute in Paris. In Public Hospitals and Hospital-University Centers he developed since 1981 diagnostic techniques and innovative therapeutic strategies.

He is an active member of the Committees on Microbiological Controls of Cell Therapy Products and the Interdisciplinary Antibioprophylaxis Working Group of the French Agency for Health Safety, and is a guest expert to the Working Groups to Prevent Avoidable Blindness of the World Health Organization (Geneva, Switzerland).
