Patricia Celerina

Celerina Patricia Sánchez Santiago is originally from Meson de Guadalupe, Santiago Juxtlahuaca district in Oaxaca Mixtec poet (ñuu savi). He has participated in numerous poetry events in Mexico and abroad including: Women of the Word: Chicana and Indigenous Women's Testimonies at the University of San Antonio, Texas (2012); at the meeting of Indigenous Women in Art, Dreams and Realities in Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Sonora Hermosillo, Guadalajara Jalisco and Veracruz (2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009), the Second International Congress of languages ​​at the Faculty of Medicine University of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2007; at the First Session of the Mixtec language analysis and proposal for rescue, school outreach and implementation at the Technological University of the Mixteca in Huajuapan de León, Oaxaca and storytelling events in Mixtec at Mobile Museum El Papalote, plus various language centers tu'un ñuu savi, among many other forums. Was a fellow of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA) and his poems have been published in various anthologies and magazines.
