Adán Brand

Aguascalientes, 1984. He has a degree in Hispanic Literature from the UAA and a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from the UNAM. Among other awards and recognitions, he received the Desiderio Macías Silva Poetry Prize (2008), the Alfonso Caso Medal for Academic Merit (2013), the Foundation for Mexican Letters scholarship (2014-2016), the Joaquín Xirau Icaza National Poetry Prize (2019), the PECDA scholarship for creators with a trajectory (2021) and the Amado Nervo National Poetry Prize (2022). He is the author of I Am More Human When I Eat Vegetables (2014), Animalaria (2018), Pendulum and Sextant (2022), All the Cornerstones (2022) and Ferales (2023).
