Agnieszka Taborska

Agnieszka was born in Warsaw and received a master's degree from the University of Warsaw. Currently lives in Warsaw and Providence. From 1996 to 2004, she taught at the School of Contemporary Art Pont Aven. Taborska She has been a lecturer in European art, cinematography and literature at the Rhode Island School of Design since 1988. Her main areas are French surrealism and how women they are portrayed in Western literature and art. She has been a museum curator for exhibitions of surrealist art both in France and in Poland. He has translated works into Polish for authors such as Philippe Soupault, Roland Topor, Gisèle Prassinos and Spalding Gray. Taborska has published short stories in Poland, Germany, Japan and Korea. These received awards from the German Academy of Children's Literature. They were also adapted for animation films, which received awards at international film festivals.
