Alan F. Kreider (1941-2017), Ph.D. from Harvard University, was a professor of history and mission of the Church at Anabaptist Mennonite Bible Seminary. For many years he lived in England, where he was director of the Mennonite Center in London and then the Center for Christianity and Culture at Regent's Park College, Oxford University. He was part of different groups of study and interreligious dialogue, such as the Evangelical Peacemakers (1983-1992) and the Mennonite-Roman Catholic International Dialogue (2000). His publications include: The Change of Conversion and the Origin of Christendom (1999), A Culture of Peace: God's Vision for the Church (2005) and Worship and Mission after Christendom (2009).
