Alberto Fuguet

Alberto Felipe Fuguet of Goyeneche was born in Santiago, Chile, on March 7, 1964. His family moved to Los Angeles (California) where he lived until 11 years of age. He arrived in 195 a Chile besieged by the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet. He studied journalism at the University of Chile.

He was the author of the anthology of stories by several Mcondo authors, which he edited himself and that gave rise to the literary group of the same name.
In 1990 he published his first storybook: Overdose, but success came with the novel Mal Wave. He was followed by the red ink titles and please. In 2003 he published the biographical essay the films of my life. In 2007 he edited the graphic novel Road Story.
His red ink novel was taken to the cinema in 2000 by Peruvian Francisco Lombardi. He was a screenwriter of several projects and in 2005 he managed to direct the film. He was followed by peasant music that in 2011 won the award for the best national feature film at the Valdivia International Film Festival.
In 2015 he returned to the novel with Non fiction, which Sudor followed in 2016.
