Alberto Ruiz de Samaniego (La Coruña, 1966) is PhD in Philosophy (Autonomous University of Madrid), Master in Aesthetics and Theory of Arts (Institute of Aesthetics and Theory of Arts of the Autonomous University of Madrid) and Professor of Aesthetics and Theory of Arts (University of Vigo). Curator and cultural critic, he has been Director of the Luis Seoane Foundation of La Coruña (2008-2011), co-directs the Larva collection (Editorial Maia-Abada) and was curator of the Spanish Pavilion of the 52nd edition of the Venice Art Biennial.
