Alberto Torres Blandina

Alberto Torres Blandina (Valencia, 1976) was winner of the Las Dos Orillas 2007 novel award with Things that would never happen in Tokyo, and finalist of the 2008 Azorín Award with the postmodern hotel experimental novel co-authored with Carolina Otero, Maxi Villarroya and Sergio Velasco. He was also a finalist for the Gijón Café Novel Prize in 2008 with Children spraying cat with gasoline. He has also published the children's novel The Hero's Apprentice. His work has been translated into five languages. In addition, he is a professor of literature, a playwright and singer of the Niñamala musical group.
