Álvaro Moral García has a degree in Political Science and Sociology, and a doctor in Philosophy from the University of Granada. He has carried out part of his postdoctoral research at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and currently works as a professor of Sociology at the University of Seville.

His studies seek to contribute to the construction of a new critical discourse through politics, history, philosophy and social sciences. He is an activist committed to the social movements of his city, a defender of the municipalist tradition and interested in the processes of democratic radicalization in the global South.
