André LaCocque is one of the greatest exponents of the current French Old Testament exegesis. His expertise led him to teach Old Testament at Chicago Theological Seminary. He has written great reviews of books of the Old Testament in English and French, among whom I wish to emphasize the commentary on the Book of Daniel in the number of "l'Ancien Testament Commentary" of Labor et Fides publishing, as well as his work together with P. Ricoeur, Thinking the Bible. Exegetical and hermeneutical studies (in Spanish, Herder, Barcelona 2001). The latter reflects the commitment to discuss the exegesis LaCocque through the study of biblical texts.
