Ángeles Caballero Martín was born in January 1976 in Madrid because there was no hospital in her hometown of Getafe. She studied Journalism out of a true calling, and she's still at it, despite the disillusionment and weariness that come with age. In her profession, she's done a bit of everything: she's written dozens of briefs and press releases, polished advertorials, edited, interviewed a wide variety of people, and handled countless minor tasks. She's also received a journalism award and has written things that her mother, not one for flattery, would describe as "effective." Twice she's been offered positions of responsibility: deputy editor of a newspaper (in exchange for a promise not to have children) and section head (on the very day she returned from her first maternity leave, for which she had to give up her reduced hours). Currently, she writes political and social commentary for El País, speaks on Cadena SER radio, and appears on La Sexta television.
