Anne Staples. Doctor in History from El Colegio de México. Her lines of research are: History of Mexican education from 1810 to 1876; the history of mining, State-Church relations, 19th century; history of women and daily life in the nineteenth century, all in Mexico. She has taught several seminars for the doctorate in History, as well as the course "History of Education in Mexico" in the Pedagogy degree at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
