Antonio Pasquali holds a PhD in Philosophy from the Sorbonne in Paris. In 1958 he created the Audiovisual Center of the Venezuelan Ministry of Education and in 1974 the Institute of Communication Research (ININCO). He was Professor of Moral Philosophy and Social Communication at the Central University of Venezuela until 1978, when he began to occupy different positions in UNESCO. Among his works are: Communication and mass culture (1964), The severed communication (1990), The order queen (1992); Welcome Global Village (1998); 18 essays on communications (2005).
