Antonio Ramos Revillas

Antonio Ramos Revillas was born in Monterrey, in 1977. A graduate of Spanish Literature at the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon, he has been a fellow of the Mexican Center of Writers, the Fonca and the Foundation for the Mexican Letters. He won the National Prize for Young Tale Julio Torri 2005. In 2014, its child and youth work was recognized by the Banco del Libro of Venezuela and Youth Library of Munich, and was selected by the Hay Festival, the British Council and Conaculta as one of the top twenty storytellers under forty in the country. He has participated in major anthologies hits. Vol. I. New Mexican narrators (Almadía, 2008), Trazosen the mirror. 15 shooting self-portraits (2011) and only story. Vol. VII (2015). Part of his work has been translated into English, French and Polish. His first novel The dead singer (Almadía, 2011) was considered one of the best of the year by Nexos and Reforma. Directs the publisher novel 27 publishers. Uanl recently received the 2015 Arts Award for his literary career.
