
Camila Mozzini-Alister is a researcher, professor, and educator specializing in social media. She holds a double PhD in Communication (UERJ-Brazil) and Arts (UPV-Spain), a Master's degree in Social and Institutional Psychology Research (UFRGS-Brazil), and a Bachelor's degree in Social Communication and Journalism (UFRGS-Brazil). Her research interests include social media addiction and the potential operations surrounding hegemonic technologies. She has also published the books TransitionalSelves: Possibilities for Identity in a Plurified World (2023, co-authored with Bussey and Chakravorty), Phenomenologies of Grace: The Body, Embodiment, and Transformative Futures (2020, co-authored with Bussey), and Impressões de umcorpo conectados: como a publicidade está nos incitando à conexão digital (2019).
