Carlos Maria Galli (1957, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a priest, theologian and professor at the Faculty of Theology at the Catholic University of Argentina (UCA). He holds the Chair in Argentina Open Theology. Was President of the Argentina Society of Theology from 1998 to 2007 and worked alongside Bergoglio, in drafting the document of Aparecida, in 2007. Is corresponding partner of the Pontifical Theological Academy and theological adviser to the Latin American Episcopal Council (CELAM). Author of numerous articles, co-authored two books and is a diverse collective works of Latin American voices that resonate in this new evangelization.
