Carlos Martínez Rentería (Carlos Eduardo Martínez Rentería, Mexico City, February 26, 1962 – February 7, 2022, Mexico City) was a journalist, writer, and editor, founder and director of the magazine "Generación," one of the greatest representatives and exponents of Mexican counterculture. He made numerous contributions to journalism, especially to activism and to the country's culture.
