Carmen Alba Pastor is a Doctor in Education and Professor Tenader at the Faculty of Education of the Complutense University of Madrid. The teaching trajectory of it combines training in new technologies applied to education and attention to diversity. She has been a director of the Complute Accessibility Observatory on Higher Education and the Microsoft-Complutely Accessibility Accessibility Chair. She has been a visiting professor at the Postgraduate School in Education at Harvard University and at the Faculty of Education at Loyola Marymount University of Los Angeles.
The research line of it focuses on the accessibility of education for all students from the perspective of diversity, through curriculum and technological resources. From your stay at the Center for Applied Special Technologies (CAST) of Wakefield, Massachussets (USA) develops its work on the universal design for learning in collaboration with this center, a field of research that is recently charged and in the that has carried out projects, publications and training of researchers and teachers.
She is a member of the University Research and Educational Innovation Network (Reuni + D). She currently directs educate, space dedicated to research, training and dissemination of universal design for learning in Spanish.
