Carolina Narváez Martínez. I was born in Cali, Colombia on March 17, 1981. I hold a degree in History from the Universidad del Valle, a Master's degree in Women's Studies from UAM Xochimilco, and a PhD in the History of Science from UNAM. I have lived in Mexico for 10 years and work as a researcher in the areas of women's writing, illness, and mysticism. I am part of the Women's Writings Research Group at IISUE-UNAM, where I have been working for the past 8 years on the recovery of texts written by women in the past. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Sexual Difference Studies at the University of Barcelona through DUODA.
